The Meet Director is responsible for the smooth running of our swim meets.
He/she ensures that all the officials and volunteers are in
place and that the pool is set up and ready to start the
meet on-time. He/she coordinates with the meet director from the
other team(s) in cases of problems or disputes.

Ryan is responsible for making sure all volunteer slots are
filled. In the event you have not signed up, please contact
him as soon as possible. Remember, you are responsible to find
your own replacement if you are unable to attend a meet.
Please notify Ryan of your replacement as soon as possible.
At meets, volunteers should check in ASAP with Ryan

Positive Check-In
Coordinator: Kevin Hultquist |
| |
|
It takes a lot of coordination to run meets with more than
200 swimmers in the pool. The coaches need to know that
swimmers that are scheduled in events are actually present
for their races. Because of this, we require what we call
"positive check-in". Each swimmer is required to check in
with Kevin by a designated time before the beginning of each
meet. The coaches take the check-in information to revise
the races, especially the relay events 1-10.
Swimmers should check in with Kevin upon arrival to
the meet.

If you are timing at a meet, be sure to check in with the
Head Timer when called by the announcer (usually just before
the Timers' meeting). The Head Timer will give you your lane
assignment and stop watch. You will then proceed to the
Timers' meeting where the Head Referee will give you
instructions for the meet.
Especially if you are a 2nd-half timer, please
report to the Head Timer and stay nearby! There is little
time to make sure everyone is in place, and the meet cannot
continue until you are.
